Mass Effect 3, Banter with Randoms

Sooooo, I was just having a couple of farming rounds on White/Platinum, and decided to quit after wave 5 as my random team was incompetent (unsurprisingly). I got asked to come back by some guy, so I sent him a message saying that I refused to play with such horrible players. I mean, I had to use 3 missiles in the first 4 waves they were that bad. Anyway, he was an illiterate little scamp, who kept calling me "kid", asking me to cry about how bad I was, that I was terrible, he was better etc etc... It was highly amusing.

He said I could only play FBW/Geth (just an assumption), using only a Salarian Engineer. Now, they all knew what was happening; HE joined the game knowing we were farming, HE sat in that room while I ran around mopping up....

My question is, have any of you guys played with randoms as stupid as this, or have you ever had any random banter with an absolute moron?

As much as I hate stupid people, they offer some comedy

I'm not sure whether it counts but I just now came out of a Reapers/Gold/Ghost. In one of the later waves I died right by the doorway to the left of the main downwards ramp, you know where people like to hang out during the beginning of each wave. A ravager spawned on the LZ and sniped be from behind =P

A random was Widowing things that spawned in the far control room right next to me. I spacebar-ed and spacebar-ed, he even had time to turn around and take out the ravager that had killed me. When I was a few seconds away from bleeding out, I called it "Hey widow guy, I've been lying dead at your feet for a minute now".

He promptly left the mission.

Very strange =P

I medigelled, we made it out OK, it was just very odd behavior!

Normally I don't have many terrible random experiences though, the only time I really ever get frustrated is when I'm leveling a class and actually care about experience and such.

Yesterday I was doing Geth/Silver/Jade with a level 1 FQE. Two people ragequit on wave 3 after being Hunter'd over and over. One other person joined in progress but I assume ragequit after he died a couple of times in a row. The host (not me) left on wave 9 after dying too much, but by then I was too invested to just leave, so when the wave started over I mopped it up with missiles and a lot of patience =P Wave 10 was escort and through some miracle I made it with 0 missiles.

All I got out of that was my own paltry experience. In retrospect, I should have left the match =P

TLDR and moral of the story; I wish so many new(ish) players wouldn't ragequit if they remember a low-level from the lobby. We want the XP even if it's a mission failure =P

yeah, there are some strange players out there. i'm not playing anymore (until zhhk gets his me3 xbox copy and i can play for fun again). what i don't understand is WHY do people who clearly cannot play the game correctly do gold/platinum runs? get good on bronze first, and when you can solo silver, then move up and get used to gold, THEN do platinum...

anyway, hurry up zhhk! playing with you on xbox will be fun, getting all your gear and leveling up from scratch...

YEAH.

Just played a match in which we failed at wave 8 playing on Vancouver against Cerberus on gold.
All three of my random team-mates I was playing with finished with less than 15k points and one guy used all 5 of his medi-gel on wave 1 (no joke) and it was not because he was about to be stomped either, as soon as he went down, he used his medi-gel.
These were the worst players I have ever played with.

And I have some other amazing, awesome and jaw-dropping news .. A subscriber of mine is going to donate towards me getting an HD-PVR. I'm going to dedicate a video to him tomorrow and adding a PayPal link, and if people want and have an extra dollar or two to spare, they can donate towards the cause as well. I realize most people don't give a shit, but an HD-PVR is about $200 where I live, and I really don't have the cash to blow on that right now. This one subscriber, really wants to help out. So if I come close to the 200 mark, or even 100 mark. I'll be able to spend the rest myself.

And I reeeeally want an HD-PVR before Halo 4 comes out - as I'm going to be playing that game alot.

Anyway, I'll see you guys tomorrow. I'll have to borrow a shitty mic from my cousin, because I can't find the adapter for my Sibera, which sucks.

oog. Okay, so I got in some minor trouble and my mom's knee jerk reaction was to take away my xbox. so tomorrow i might not be on, usually i can weasel out of it but i dont think so. Wednesday I should be on though.... oog. Sorry guys, still 17 years old.

its not even that big of stuff! my cousin from California came over for the first time in 5 years so we stayed up talking about stuff. so i got in trouble for being up late
